We all know now a days Digital payments are most popular as we do not have to visit bank and save our time as well and it is safe too. But our one mistake can empty our Bank Account.
Tips for safe online banking
- Never Disclose your Net Banking password , OTP (One Time Password), ATM or Phone banking PIN, CVV number, Expiry date of credit/debit card to anyone even if they claim to be from your bank
- Bank or Its employees NEVER asks to their customers to provide OTP, Net Banking password etc. so never reply to them
- Always use strong password and use different ID/Password for different account to prevent them guessing them
- Periodically change your banking password
- To make Strong password make combination of alphabets, Upper case, Lowercase and special character and never use Month name, your birth date etc.
- Never make financial transaction from public Wi-fi
- Always remember to Log off from your computer after completing banking transaction
- Always Delete browsing history from your web browser (Crome, Internet explorer, Firefox etc.)
- Make sure you have saved your bank’s customers care number so that you can report any suspicious or unexpected transaction on your account immediately
- NEVER save credit/Debit card details on E-Commerce website while purchasing items
